The
Spa Lift Model AG48 mounts on a16" x 16" stainless-steel plate with
tripod supports (not shown) welded to the cylinder bottom for bolting
the unit to the floor unless the lift is attached to top edge of the
spa. The standard seat face away from the
spa, and has no arms. Optional side seats and stationary handles (not
shown) allow some people to be able to use this lift alone, manually
rotating themselves while on the seat. Other applications for this
unit include nursing home tubs. Refer to the drawing, "REQUIRED
DIMENSIONS FOR ABOVEGROUND LIFTS ," for the
dimensions we need for this model.
The cylinder for this
unit is welded to a base plate which can be screwed or bolted to the
floor. For a very heavy person, a bracket and several long screws into
the wood of the cabinet can secure the cylinder at the top. The
control valve is mounted on the cylinder and can be adjusted in
height.
Note: The Model AG48
lift was previously called the Model SL48 or Model SLE48. |
