EVA 2 with Hand Brakes

New for 2002, is the
EVA 2 Support Walker with Hand Brakes. This rear caster braking system
consists of a bicycle style hand brake that is attached to the handgrip
upright post. The handbrake can be used to slow the rotation of the
caster or completely stop the caster from turning. Please note: Caster
brakes will only "stop" the caster from "turning/rolling". The armrest
pads can be removed and are machine washable at 140°F (60°c), making it
ideal for institutions with a variety of users. The handgrips have a
more comfortable round shape and are forward facing, providing a better
and more ergonomic grip. The width between armrests can be adjusted from
12"-20" wide. Welded tubular steel frame with baked on epoxy finish.
Dimensions: Outside base width is 26", inside base width at entry is
23.5" and flares to 19" at the front of the base. Base length is 27".
Max. Static Load: 150 kg (330 lbs.) Max. Ht to top of armrest pads 118cm

The EVA 2 Electric
with Hand Brakes is battery operated and will assist the user to a
standing position. (No photo available of this model). It has a lifting
capacity of 220lbs(100kg). The Up and Down push button controls are
located in the top of the handgrips. The rear caster braking system
consists of a bicycle style hand brake that is attached to the handgrip
upright post. The handbrake can be used to slow the rotation of the
caster or completely stop the caster from turning. Please note: Caster
brakes will only "stop" the caster from "turning/rolling". Includes 2 -
12v 2.9 rechargable batteries for 24v 2.7 ah hookup. Will operate at 6
minutes per hour continous use. Min. 50 times up/down between charges.
Recommended charging rate is once per week at 12 hours. Batteries and
110v (UL approved) charger are included. Optional Accessories: Pendant
control which gives the caregiver control over the motorized lift
mechanism and a 220v charger which is TUV certified. Model # 83940 with

Pneumatic EVA w/Hand

The EVA 2 Pneumatic
w/Hand Brakes will adjust from 35"-50" (90/125cm). (No Photo available
of this model). The pneumatic piston provides 25kg (55.11#) of
assistance to lift the patient to a standing position. The easy release
lever mechanism is conveniently located under the front armrest support
frame. The height adjustment makes it ideal for the busy therapy
department or those patients needing minor assistance to stand. Model #
