Verti-Lifts
have a maximum platform size of 12 sq.ft. and a lifting height limited
by code to 12'-0". Most installations are free standing and arrive on
site assembled and ready to operate. Vertical wheelchair platform lifts
are most often designed to be "open" with 42" high sides, but can be
enclosed in a shaft with full height doors if desired.
Note: All platform lifts can only
be operated by "constant pressure." The user must depress a button or
lever to move. They are not automatic. Variations in design and
materials are available to customize installations to individual tastes.
