·        What is the camber on the Quickie 2?

 

The Quickie 2 is shipped with 3 degrees of camber, but is adjustable by removing or adding (decreasing or increasing the camber) washers to the axle plate mounted to the rear side frame.

 

·        What is the True-Fit Program for the Quickie 2?

 

The True-Fit Program is a one-time free growth kit to ensure the proper fit of the chair due to physical changes of the user.  Seat sling, back upholstery, footplates, hangers, back tubes, frame and cross-brace assembly will be replaced at no extra charge.  (For up to three years from delivery on Quickie 2 wheelchairs shipped after November 15, 1995.)

 

·        The Quickie 2 has a modular frame, what does that mean?

 

The modular frame is what allows for easy growth of the wheelchair.  It consists of two front side frames, two rear side frames and a cross-brace assembly.  By replacing different components of the frame the dimensions of the wheelchair are easily changed.

 

·        What is a “hemi frame” on a Quickie 2?

 

The hemi frame offers a 2” lower seat to floor height to allow for easier foot propulsion of the wheelchair.

 

·        How is the back height adjusted on the Quickie 2?

 

Adjustments in back height are made by raising and lowering the back posts in the rear side frames.

 

·        How is the rear seat height adjusted on the Quickie 2?

 

The rear seat height is easily adjusted by changing the position of the adjustable axle plate.

 

·        What is the “Bumper to Bumper” warranty on the Quickie 2?

 

As of November 15, 1995 warranties on all parts of the Quickie 2 were doubled, lifetime warranty of the frame, cross-brace assembly and quick release axles still applies.

 

·        What is the Depth-adjustable back option on the Quickie 2?

 

The depth-adjustable back option provides up to 18 degrees of angle adjustment of the back posts.  It also allows for full seat depth use for after market back assemblies.
